I made it super easy for you to tweak Chatlorin personalities to your heart's content. All you need to do is simply hover over the personality that you want to edit and click on the 'edit' button that pop-ups. You can even completely delete them if you want.

Vault Personalities in Your Collection
Export Your Preferences and Collection
Welcome to the Export section! Here, you can export all your preferences and personality collection to another browser or computer.
There are two options available for you:
- Export Custom Personalities: If you don't want to export your personal data, check the "Export custom personalities only" checkbox. This option will only export your custom personalities without any personal information or vault personalities. You can use this option to share your custom personalities with your friends.
- Export All: This option will export your API key, Name, Profile Picture URL, and other preferences along with your personality collection. Use this option to export and import your data to another browser or computer that belongs to you.
Keep in mind that you should export and keep a backup of your collection every time you add a new personality. Chatlorin is privacy-first, and all your data is stored on your browser. If you clear your cache, you will lose all your data.
Import Chartlorin Collections
To import previously exported Chatlorin collections or personal data, simply click on the “Import” button in the app. This will allow you to select a JSON file that you previously exported from Chatlorin.
Once you've selected the file, Chatlorin will automatically merge the collections and store them in your broswer cache. This won't delete or replace any collections that you already have.

What is Chatlorin?
Chatlorin is a ChatGPT interface that directly connects to GPT3.5 API. Chatlorin runs 100% on your browser, and none of your personal data is shared with the Chatlorin server.
In fact, since Chatlorin uses Jamstack architecture on Cloudflare Pages, it doesn't even have any servers! This means that you own 100% of your data, and chatlorin.onceuponatimewithai.com can't see anything - not your API keys, not your messages, and not your custom personalities.
Who created Chatlorin?
I did. My name is Asaniczka (prononced Asanichka), and I'm a guy obsessed with AI.
Fun fact, this website Chatlorin was 80% built with the Codelorin module of Chatlorin. I barely know any JavaScript, so I've used Codelorin to write all the behind-the-scenes code to get this working.
Before ChatGPT was a thing, I used to be a content writer. My website Asaniczka.com is history of this. But with AI replacing content writers, gotta accept the fact that I don't have a future writing.
I've always loved computers and the fascinating things they can do, but I never learned to code. When ChatGPT could write code, it was like I found a missing piece of my brain. Now I can bring my ideas to life.
During the first few days after the API release, I spent my time building Chatlorin since I wanted to use the speed of ChatGPT PLUS without spending $20 a month. I couldn't find any interfaces, so I built this myself. My fiance then encouraged me to share my creation with the world. That's how Chatlorin came to life.
I think a lot of people would find chatlorin helpful. Chatlorin is and always will be free since this is something that I really, really enjoy building.
Why is it called Chatlorin?
Chatlorin is a combination of ChatGPT and Vaelorin (my last name).
Do you plan on adding new features to Chatlorin?
Yes, I have plenty of features planned for Chatlorin, including a connection to OpenAI Whisper for audio transcription, and maybe even GPT4.

How do I use Chatlorin?
In simple terms, use it like you would use ChatGPT. However, Chatlorin has a few key features that differentiate it from ChatGPT:
- You can manually set how many messages Chatlorin should remember. This is really helpful if you want the AI to refer to messages that are like 20 messages deep. You can also use it to make the AI forget all the previous messages by setting the messages to remember to 2 or 3 messages.
- You can store all your favorite prompts in one place with Chatlorin's personality collection. With this feature, you can add and store all your favorite collections and access them easily.
- Chatlorin comes with several color themes, so you can choose the one that you like the most. This way, you can customize the overall look and feel of the interface to suit your preferences.
How does the "Messages to Remember" feature work?
"Messages to Remember" is the number of previous messages that Chatlorin will use to generate a response.
If you choose "1," Chatlorin will only use the most recent message you sent.
If you choose "2," Chatlorin will use your message and the AI's previous message. In other words, both your messages and the AI's messages are counted.
You don't need to have a conversation style to use this feature. You can delete all of your messages (using the delete button) and just keep the AI's messages. The AI will still respond. Alternatively, you can delete all of the AI's messages and just keep your messages.
NOTE: The introduction message is never sent to the AI. It is simply there to inform you that you've switched to a new personality and to instruct you on how to use the current personality.
How does switching personality work?
Behind the scenes, switching personality switches the system message or the "prompt". Switching personality doesn't clear your chatlog - this is by design.
You can use different prompts or personalities within the same chat.
For example, you can use one module to create a blog headline and switch to another that generates a blog outline without having to copy and paste your previous messages.
If you want to clear the chat log, you can use the "Clear Chat" button located next to the space where you type at the bottom of the screen. This will remove all messages from the current conversation.
